We were delighted to welcome 70 alumni and friends to an iconic venue in central London, The Royal Society, on 16th May. Guests had the opportunity to hear Prof Val Mizrahi and Assoc Prof Deshen Moodley talk about the ground-breaking, inspiring and world class research that is being conducted across numerous faculties at UCT in their presentation titled “Leading from UCT: Africa-centred research with global impact”. The evening concluded with a drinks reception, where guests had the chance to connect, meet and mingle with fellow alumni and friends, both old and new.
