UK Alumni Bursary Programme

Over the past year, UK based UCT alumni supported thirty undergraduates and five postgraduate students studying various disciplines, ranging from Medicine to Business Science, Bioinformatics to Social Development.

Over the years, all of the students who have benefited from the UK Alumni Bursary Programme are from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, and could not have contemplated furthering their studies without financial aid.

We are immensely grateful to all alumni who have made contributions through the years.

If you would like to help more young people achieve their dreams, please consider making a contribution to the UK Alumni Bursary Programme. Click here to download a pledge form, and send your donation to the UCT Trust.

All funds received go directly to UCT to support more students.  Remember – if you are a UK tax payer, please sign the Gift Aid declaration which enables the UCT Trust to claim an extra 25% from the Inland Revenue to go towards the bursaries.
