Michael Fargher
Michael is currently a Portfolio Manager at Citadel, one of the world’s leading alternative investment managers. Michael began his career at Goldman Sachs in the commodities division and ultimately served as a Managing Director in their Global Markets Division.
Michael received a B.BusSci from UCT, a MSc in Economics for Development and a M.Litt in Development Studies from the University of Oxford where he was a Rhodes Scholar at St John’s College. His non-professional interests include supporting critical thinking and public speaking non-profits as well as supporting initiatives that provide opportunities for African stories and voices, particularly those of women, to be heard.
